Better Interest Rates for Members Depositors
The depositors members are given 0.5 to 1 % interest more per year in order to have a fair return to the members than commercial banks per year. The rates of interest on deposits are liable for change as per directions of the Reserve Bank of India and according to the market rates. All deposits which are brought to FAMCO are subsequently deposited in the State Cooperative Bank. Furthermore, loans are officially given to SHGs.
